National Philanthropy Day® is a special day set aside each November to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy—and those people active in the philanthropic community—to the enrichment of our world.

In professional fundraising, vital philanthropic partnerships must be maintained for the benefit of a community. It is proper that we honor those who best exemplify commitment, dedication and talent toward helping society. Therefore, the Greater Louisville Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements by individual, organization, foundation and corporate philanthropists, fundraising volunteers and professional fundraisers. These awards are given in recognition of lifetime, long-term and noteworthy achievements that have had a major impact on our community.
